Last night seven of our dutiful PLAN pilots and flight
attendants prepared for PLAN.E Lotsa Love’s takeoff. Strictly BYOB and PLURR the
inaugural event will be flying high on February 21st from 7:00 p.m.
to February 22nd at 1 a.m.
The crew was busy getting the stage, photo booth and
decorations ready for those of us wearing our party pants next Saturday. The
space has 20-foot high ceilings, perfect for housing a rented set of subs and
an awesome lineup. The stellar sound system was tested last night.
“The speaker system is more than enough to fill the space,
we made sure to give it a little extra boom,” stated founder, Tito Giovanni Del
Valle. While the venue is new, there are still those elements that you came to
know and love at the PLAN house.
There will be candy, crackers and veggies—but make sure you
fill up before hand! It’s BYOB, like always. And as always please be
responsible (that last R in PLURR is so important). You really don’t want to be
THAT guy and white girl wasted looks good on no one ladies.
They’ve arranged couches and invested in mats to go along
the walls for nonstop gloving, or if you need a break from shuffling. Resident
DJs will be playing long into the night on an elevated stage. So basically it's like Whiskey Bar, but with better bathrooms.
For your viewing pleasure, the guys brought in laser lights,
and will have a spotlight on the PLAN banner.
We all love pictures so make sure you hit up the photo
booth. It will be bigger—even though I’m sure you all love seeing how many
humans you can cram in one picture—and better than ever with a PLAN backdrop to
commemorate the event. Keep your eyes open for our videographer and
photographer so you can make the next recap video and album. Oh and look for
me, too. I’ll be the cool girl with the digital recorder.
So what all goes into getting a venue? Besides hours of work
the founders, pilots and flight attendants have put in, a venue generally
requires a deposit, lease and liability insurance. That being said please
remember that this is hopefully our new spot, and take care of it the same way
you would the PLAN house.
Tito reiterates, “We need to make sure we continue to have a
home.” While Lotsa Love goes until 1 a.m. the crew will have a cleaning party
until 4 a.m. (there’s a pizza incentive).

You definitely don’t want to miss this.
And while you thought it couldn't get better, here's a sneak peek at the lineup!
I sincerely hope to see you there, until then,
